Research Projects in The Churchill Lab:

My research interest lies in developing novel computational methods and/or algorithms for better analysis of high-throughput genomic data by the incorporation of network models. I am currently working on RNA-seq time series data of oteoblastogenesis, trying to identify key driver genes behind the developmental process of this bone generating cell. I am also working on a microarray time course regarding the lung development of three different mouse strains. By comparing and contrasting different genetic backgrounds, we aim to find molecular network signatures in the development process that may be relevant to the varied vulnerability to lung cancer.
